Renowned model, activist and beautician Sphiwe Benasho will, in collaboration with other partners, on October 22nd, host the Pink Ribbon Walk from Bonjour in Northmead to East Park Mall in Lusaka.
This unique but special event comes under Sphiwe Benasho Foundation set to support and promote charitable events particularly cancer awareness.
The Foundation is working with several partners like Power FM, Phoenix of Zambia Assurance Company, Sterlin Medical and Diagnostics plus more to ensure that the Saturday walk is a success.
This according to Sphiwe will be an opportunity to highlight various issues on different types of cancer. The walk will also be supported by a number of celebrities that are willing to create awareness on this noble cause.
The Sphiwe Benasho Foundation has in the recent past been active in putting together various events and avenues to supplement the government’s efforts in cancer awareness. It is for this reason that the Foundation invites members of the public to take part in this walk which will start take place in the morning. The walk is absolutely free and participants will be given some free T-Shirts and other awareness material. Entertainment will also be provided as people walk for a good cause which encompasses fitness, social interaction and cancer awareness.
