KABWE Warriors yesterday failed to collect maximum points at home drawing 1-1 with Napsa Stars at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium in a Super Division Week 25 match.
The railway men dominated the entire match but wasted several scoring chances despite Napsa’s seemingly weak defence.
Warriors took the lead in the 14th minute when skillful Mwansa Nsofwa unleashed a brilliant strike.
In the second half, Warriors maintained their pace but wasted three chances.
Warriors relaxed in the last 15 minutes of the match and allowed Napsa to equalise in the 88th minute with Justus Anene scoring a rebound.
The Mohammed Fathy coached side is stuck on sixth positions with 36 points while Napsa has 29.
Meanwhile, in the other week 25 fixture, Nkana would today aim to close in on leaders Zanaco when they face relegation threatened Lusaka Dynamos at Sunset Stadium in an early kick-off at 13:00 hours.
Zanaco has 55 points while rivals Nkana are with 50. In the other match at Sunset, Zanaco faces a tough tested Mufulira Wanderers.
