ZAMBIA today hosts the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations formality match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Both teams will be seeking consolation victory to appease their angry fans for failing to qualify for the AfCON finals in Gabon
Zambia and Kenya are ranked third and fourth in group E with six and four points respectively..
But Zambia will use today’s match as a build up to the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier match against Nigeria on October 3.
Zambia beat Kenya 2-1 in the first leg on September 6 in Nairobi with Collins Mbesuma and Winston Kalengo aiding the Chipolopolo’s victory.

Coach George Lwandamina will depend on Kalengo and Jackson Mwanza to lead the frontline while Nathan Sinkala, Rainford Kalaba, Felix Katongo, Paul Katema and Lubambo Musonda will be in the midfiled.
Stopilla Sunzu , Emmanuel Mbola , Buchizya Mfune, Ziyo Tembo and Adrian Chama will shield the defence.
In-form Victor Wanyama of Tottenham Hotspurs, Zesco trio of David Odhiambo, Jesse were and Anthony expected to start in the first eleven for Kenya.
Kenya coach Stanely Okumbi said he was aiming to wind up the team’s unsuccessful 2017 AFCON qualification campaign on a high.
“This is an important match for us. We have to win this game. The team is ready for the challenge and will be conscious of Zambia,” he said.
Lwandamina said, “We cannot afford to lose at home. Kenya is a strong side but my boys mentally and physically prepared for the match,”
