MMD President Felix Mutati has called on Zambians to vote for Edgar Lungu on August 11 Elections because he is the only leader with a vision.
Mr Mutati made the call when he adressed a rally in Salanga, Mulele Ward of Mwansabombwe District of Luapula Province.
He said Zambians should vote for the PF because of its development projects it had done for the nation. He also asked the electorates to vote for the MMD Candidate Sunday Maluba for development in the area.
And addressing the meeting Mr Maluba said if given a vote he would never let the people down like other leaders had done in the past.
He said he would address the water challenges and the development of road infrastructure, education, clinics and other social amenities.
Meanwhile, Chairman for Commerce Trade and Industry Chilekwa Mukonge has asked the people of Luapula to vote for the MMD because the second Republican President Frederick Chiluba hailed from Luapula.
“Let’s emulate our friends the Tongas how they come in numbers and support their candidate,” said Mr Mukonge
And Chairman for Education Henry Mulenga told the electorate that they should not be mislead over the leadership of the MMD which was now under Mr Mutati.
Mr Mulenga said that the MMD was not idle but that it was aware of what was happening on the ground.
