GEOFREY MWAMBA should be sincere to the people of Kasama because there is nothing he has done when he was area Member of Parliament, says PF aspiring candidate for Kasama Central Kelvin Sampa .
Mr Sampa said Kasama had only seen massive development without a lawmaker to represent the people and therefore PF had overwhelming support.
He said claims that the opposition UPND had taken over Kasama in popularity were as unfounded as the opposition party was non-existent.
Mr Sampa said the people of Kasama had recently walked several kilometers to attend a rally by the Head of State as a means of appreciating his works.
“PF is intact here and has continued to enjoy popularity. All the claims that the party is losing grip are wishful thinking and August 11will prove the point,” Mr Sampa said.
He said the PF government had managed to bring direct development closer to the people, adding that plans were still there to ensure Zambians benefitted from their natural resources.
“GBM was in Kasama Central and what is it he has done for people? Mr Mwamba has done nothing and yet he has been boasting about the money. As PF, we are determined to see that as much development should come to the area.’’
He said the PF would not waste time engaging in any form of violence because they were busy planning for the people and how best to market its manifesto for the electorate to buy into.
“Our fight is delivering to the people of Zambia; nothing more and infrastructure development is what I wish to embark on if elected as Member of Parliament.’’
Mr Sampa said he was targeting agriculture as priority because Kasama’s rain pattern was favourable for the cultivation of any crop.
He said agriculture had become an immediate intervention and that he would target youths for sustainable development.
