Poor Airtel network in Garden House

Editor,

I would like to find out from Airtel Zambia Limited why Garden House has continued to experience network problems for a month now. Residents of this compound in areas like Sharom School, Garden House hotel, and parts of Makeni Villa would agree with me that these places have been experiencing network problems. We cannot access internet and even when making calls it has become so difficult. I appeal to Airtel management to look into the issue urgently.

Sontapo is to account

Editor,

Mr. Cliff HS’s article is misleading by suggesting that Government should abandon infrastructure development and ‘‘keep resources’’ for ministers’ post term share out at the end of five years. I would rather pay high tax to make my country develop than pay modest tax which will be misapplied by way of post term grabs by political parties opposing infrastructure development being undertaken by the current government. Compare the PF’s five years with MMD’s 20 years in government. Refurbished and new infrastructure as opposed to collapsed infrastructure we witnessed in towns: pot holes too big to be crossed with fat ministers’ pockets! Shame!

Zamtel pays casual workers K38 per day

Editor,

It is heart-breaking to know that a Government company is paying its casual workers K38 per day of which it is not even given to them on time. Surely how can a man with a wife and children survive on K988 given after two months? Someone has failed to run Zamtel and the Government is doing nothing about it.

HH’s advice to women on sex reckless

Editor,

HH’s call for women to deny their husbands their conjugal rights if they choose to vote for the PF is misplaced. Hakainde’s thinking capacity is making me wonder how someone aspiring for a high office could stoop so low and advise women to deny their husband’s sex. My question to HH is, ba tata ba HH, are you going to marry all women should their husbands decide to divorce their wives for denying them their conjugal rights?

Does HH care about Zambia?

Editor,

If HH did care about our country, he would have advised greedy politicians not to sell our mines for a song during privatisation programme.
