The Patriotic Front (PF) will spearhead unprecedented development if they are given another five years in office, says Kanyama parliamentary candidate Elizabeth Phiri.
Ms. Phiri said that the PF had already begun to create employment opportunities through the construction of new clinics and roads.
She said that if PF triumphed in the upcoming general elections, more clinics would be built within a five-kilometre radius of Kanyama.
And her campaign manager, Daniel Kalembe said that Ms. Phiri was the right choice for Kanyama as she lived in the area and understood what the community needed.
“She’s a ‘komboni girl’, so she knows the suffering of Kanyama people,” said Mr. Kalembe.
He said the community was happy that President Edgar Lungu had given voters a local candidate, who was also a person of high calibre.
“She will deliver Kanyama. We are very much confident as a party,” he said.
Former aspiring candidate, Daniel Mwila, said that PF was dedicated to empowering Zambians as it had a road map for improving the economy.
He said that the Zambian people should give PF another five year mandate so that they could continue to implement projects, particularly in the agricultural sector.
