He is new on the local gospel scene but his passion to sing and serve the Lord will give you an understanding of how dedicated he wants to use music for a purpose.
He is set to tell his own life experiences through music and encourage a number of souls to the Lord.
His debut release ‘See Me Today’ lines up a combo of 10 songs ranging from worship, praise and life experiences which prompted him to launch three videos on Friday night at Lusaka Hotel.
Dickson Kadansa Phiri who is simply referred to as Dickson says his mission to launch the videos and his music is mainly to introduce himself on the local music front and help contribute to encouraging people to serve the Lord.
“My experiences as an individual have taught me about the unending love of God Almighty.
It has given me encouragement to share with people that no matter what situation you may find yourself in, God will always find a way to lift you and take you where you want to be,” he says in explaining his choice for the title, ‘See Me Today’.
The album which he says he will launch in October, has uplifting songs like ‘Amulungu,’ ‘Chikondi Chanu’, ‘Nifendele Kumalile’ and ‘Ambuye Sinisakaleka.’ Others are ‘Ipepo Lyandi’, ‘My Favourite,’ ‘Best Friend’ featuring Ephraim, ‘Celebrity’ and ‘Amama’.
His stylish and successful video launch on Friday received massive support from local gospel artistes who were treated to a red carpet event. These included Ephraim, Oswald, Genius Du, Simbeye and his wife, Mweshi Mulusa, Munyemesha Munyemesha among others.
The show which many described as unique and exciting was anchored by Antonio the Yellow Dove.
