We know where Post is being printed-ZSIS

THE story by the Post Newspaper that President Edgar Lungu is angry with the Zambia Security Intelligence Service (ZSIS) is a total fabrication because government is aware of where the Post is being printed but has opted to remain quiet in order expose Mr Fred M’membe’s arrogance to Zambians.

The system is enraged that the Post Newspaper has resorted to fabricating stories that President Lungu is angry with the system for failing to locate where the newspaper is being printed after it was closed by the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) for failing to pay K53 million tax debt.

Sources within the Zambia Security Intelligence Service have denied ever being summoned by President Lungu at State House at which it was alleged the Head of State blasted the officers for allegedly being outsmarted by Fred M’membe, the proprietor of the Post Newspaper.

The source said President Lungu had never called such a meeting to chastise senior intelligence officers for allegedly failing to trace where the Post Newspaper was being printed after it had been closed by ZRA.

The source said the Post fabricated story was only meant to cause consternation within the intelligence system and government system apart from its proprietor Fred M’membe working at saving his face after ZRA closed his newspaper.

The source said the language in the concocted story could not be associated with President Lungu because the Head of State was never known for using language that was offensive.

“No such a meeting took place and the story that President Lungu is angry with the system for failing to locate where the Post was being printed is meant to cause confusion in government and the intelligence system. President Lungu would never use such kind of language and it is not true that Mr M’membe has outsmarted the system. We know where he is printing his newspaper but we have allowed him to continue so that he can exhibit his usual arrogance,” the source said.

The source advised that the Daily Nation could easily conduct its own investigations and find out where the Post Newspaper was being printed.

“Just check sniff around and you will easily find out where the Post is being printed. If you find out, ask them why they are printing the newspaper when it is closed. The President knows where it is being printed and it is fallacy for Mr M’membe to fantasize that he has eluded the system,” the source said.
