PF parliamentary candidate for Wusakile, Ackson Simwizye, says the challenges of garbage collection and lack of proper drainage system in some parts of the constituency is one of the issues he will tackle if elected.
Mr Simwizye said he had seen a lot of uncollected garbage piling up in some areas of the constituency due to lack of dumping sites which he hoped would be a thing of the past once he was made area MP.
He told the Daily Nation that he had already identified the businessmen and other stakeholders to work with in mitigating the problem of uncollected garbage for the people in the constituency to live in a clean and healthy environment.
Mr Simwizye however said the issue of uncollected garbage would not hinder his campaign as perceived by some of the opposition political opponents fighting for the same seat.
He said every problem had a solution, adding that it was not only the issue of uncollected garbage that needed to be sorted out as there were also many other important challenges which the PF campaign team wanted to discuss with the people of Wusakile.
Mr Simwizye assured that Wusakile constituency would be transformed into an adorable area as he would introduce a number of development projects for the benefit of the residents in the constituency.
He challenged some opposition political players basing their campaign message on the poor drainage system to stop doing so because they did not know the areas that were affected and had no answers to the problem.
“People in Wusakile constituency should not listen blindly to some political players who are just campaigning for the sake of going to Parliament to enrich themselves without having a plan for the area,’’ Mr Simwizye said.
Mr Simwizye advised the electorate not to vote for politicians who were full of ‘‘sugar-coated promises and empty speeches but full of hate’’.
