ECL can scoop the presidency
In my considered view the best political party will win the August 11 general elections. It is in black and white that the battle is between the Patriotic Front and United Party for National Development. From the way things are, President Edgar Lungu stands a good chance of winning the presidential polls. The endorsements for UPND leader was even there during the 2015 presidential elections but he lost. This year’s presidential election result will reciprocate what transpired in 2015. Never be cheated that HH will provide solutions to all the problems.
GBM, Miles and Guy Scott
GBM, Miles and Guy Scott – why should you abandon your own political party, the Patriotic Front, you formed? Anyway, it is never too late to, you can still re-join otherwise you will remember my words because President Edgar Lungu is a listener.
PF should have gone for Nyambose in Chongwe
Who will grab the Chongwe seat? Is it Sylvia Masebo who has been MP in all governments but has failed to deliver any meaningful development or Mwakalombe who was given chance in 2011 but opted to resign and give chance to his sister? Is the Chongwe seat a monarch? In my view PF should have adopted Nyambose. I don’t know whether Mwakalombe and Masebo will conspire voters!

G3 security firm workers go unpaid
I am one of the security guards working for G3 Security Company here in Kabwe . We are suffering at the hands of our employers who have not paid us since February this year. Where will we get money for buying basic needs for our families and taking our children to school? We had an audience with the permanent secretary and labour officers but nothing was resolved. We are still having the same challenges. I would like to appeal to Government to come in to help us.
UNZA’s Golden Jubilee
I wish to thank First Republican President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda for his contribution to the University of Zambia when he served as the first Chancellor for the institution. It is indeed a great honour to see him witness the Golden Jubilee of Zambia’s biggest public tertiary institution. I wish all the best to all the students who are currently there and who graduated a long time ago.
Advice for the Chipolopolo
I want to urge the football fraternity, especially FAZ president Andrew Kamanga to take the Guinea Bissau vs Zambia match to be played this Saturday as the stepping stone to Gabon. All they need is strong defence and a striking force to win. They should avoid early goals at all cost; if they do that will be the end of Zambia’s hopes for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations championship.
