THE Chipolopolo will play the Gambia on May 30 in the second and final preparatory match before facing Guinea Bissau in a swim or sink AFCON qualifier on June 4.
FAZ announced recently that the team will play Togo in Lome on May 27 and yesterday added lowly Gambia to the training programme.
The Chipolopolo was scheduled to leave early next week. Zambia needs an outright victory in Bissau.
Failure to win will see Zambia knocked out of qualifying for Gabon 2017, an unthinkable prospect for a country that has made qualifying to every AFCON tournament its birth right and a non-debatable matter no matter how tough the qualifying games.
A 37-man squad is presently in camp preparing for Guinea Bissau.
Many Chipolopolo players are confident Zambia will beat Guinea Bissau.
The two teams drew 0-0 in their first meeting at Levy Mwanawasa last year. – Zambian Football
