Some time back while on ZNBC’s Sunday Interview, Chief Government spokesperson Chishimba Kambwili said there was a good percentage that if one was to throw a stone, it would land on the project being done or already done by the PF government….
Whether our opposition can claim the projects we have today were started by the MMD or by the late Michael Sata, the truth of the matter is, it’s President Lungu and the PF who are in government and have made it possible for the said projects to be done on time and not stalled.
Unlike our opposition who pretend to know every answer to everything, President Lungu made it clear during the press conference (May 13th, 2016) that they won’t pretend to know every answer to everything, but they will do their level best in making sure every Zambian benefited, even those who didn’t vote for him.
He also assured us that we the voters did not misplace our trust and confidence. Now, if that’s not leadership, then I don’t know what it is.
I’ve always said, there’s no shame in giving appreciation where it’s due.
How many projects has President Lungu done/completed in just one year? A lot! And how many projects did Guy Scott do when he was acting President? None!
The white man couldn’t even handle the comedy we saw during the funeral of late President Sata where his son Mulenga had sympathisers campaigning for him to take over the Presidency. SHAME!
I agree with what Mr. Kavindele said that our opposition should do more in offering solutions to the problems affecting Zambians because they play a vital role in our democracy, they offer accountability.
But from what we’ve seen or heard our opposition has been ‘BULYING’ and not offering the kind of leadership Zambians need.
Its preoccupation has been threatening people with citizen arrests and using vulgar language towards their perceived opponents.
My humble advice to the opposition political parties is that, as we enter the campaign period, stick to issue-based campaigning if you want our vote.
Tell us why you deserve a chance in State House. That’s all we ask of you.
May God bless mother Zambia.
