TARRING of the Simon Mwewa Lane on the western side of the Lusaka commercial district will open up massive business opportunities, says Simoson building director Chitambala Mwewa.
Mr. Mwewa said the business community in the area was so grateful to Government through the Lusaka City Council (LCC) for making the construction of the road a reality, adding that the community had for a long time pleaded for the road to be tarred.
“We are very grateful to LCC and Avic Contractors for this road as the business community because it has been long overdue. The road will open up so many business opportunities to the people of Lusaka.
“Already people have started showing interest to do business in the Simon Mwewa Lane; the last time we had a proper road was more than 10 years ago, which is a long time,” he said.
Mr. Mwewa urged the business community in the area to take advantage of the development and recapitalise their businesses.
“Now that the road is done, I would like to see business around this area flourishing,” said Mr. Chitambala
