Police lack tactics to catch criminals
I wish to agree with what other people have said about police lacking tactics. The problem with the Zambian Police is that they think catching a thief is just going with guns in a group in the night. This is wrong. They should use workable strategies. They can just let some people move in the night and start following them wherever they go without being seen or them knowing that they are being followed. I feel that way it will be easy to catch these killers unlike the way police are doing it.
Zambia for a free media
The statement by Chishimba Kambwili that Government will be forced to regulate the media is misplaced. Governments come and go; the media cannot be regulated to suit the party in power. A free media is what we want.

If Zimbabwe has ended load shedding, why can’t we?
Here in Garden compound, we have on several occasions complained about Zesco’s massive load shedding. A few days ago, I was in Zimbabwe and visited the following townships in Harare: Dzivaresekwa, Mabvuku, Kuwadzana, Tafara, Grenview 2 and 3. I was surprised that the Zimbabwe Electricity and Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has ended load shedding in that country despite Zimbabwe and Zambia sharing the same Kariba Dam. Back home, here we had similar rains with Zimbabwe but surprisingly the same story of low water levels continues with impunity. One wonders if we are being told the truth by Zesco management.
