Kalus achievements

Editor,

Dear Editor

Former FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya’s achievemnts  during his tenure will be a yardstick  for the new Executive. The difference of 7 votes between the winner and the loser does not currently give the new  executive  a strong position as I believe there are some players and  other administrators who still have allegiance  to Kalusha. This is normal, you can’t erase what Kalusha has achieved  in football both as a player and administrator.

The failing joy in Joy FM Radio

Editor,

On Wednesday 23rd March, 2016 I was listening to a live  phone-in-programme on Joy FM titled “ Headline Feedback” One of the callers asked the presenters why they always pick stories from the Post Newspapers. I was not impressed with the response from the presenters as they were at pain trying to justify their motives. It is public domain that this newspaper has continued with malicious reporting against the PF government. One wonders why this radio station takes joy in picking Post stories.

 Sampa is finished in Matero

Editor,

As Rainbow Party youths, we wish to express our deepest disappointment with the political violence that erupted on Youth Day in Lusaka. These youths from named parties should emulate Rainbow Party youths who are peaceful. I wish also to state that our party has grown big in Matero Constituency. Mr. Sampa is no longer popular. He must see first the Rainbow Party colours before he see his. He knows that he is finished in the area.

 Fallen soccer standards

Editor,

Allow me space to congratulate Mr. Andrew Kamanga  for being elected new FAZ President. The purpose of this letter  is to ask him to critically look into the fallen soccer standards in the country. If it is possible , Mr. President, please bring back the following activities on the  football calendar. Copperbelt  Vs Midlands and  the All the Stars  Vs The Rest tournaments. With these two on board plus any other that   you may think of , competition will become stiff and selection of players to the national team  will be broadened. May God bless you.

Ichikuku mu Lubemba lacking

Editor,

Is the Bemba Royal Establishment aware that the Chitimukulu Chiefdom extended from Luapula into Northern to some parts of Central Province. Luapula went alone, Central seceded unilaterally, the Namwanga, Mambwe and Lungu also seceded, and now it is Muchinga to go their own way. Even the secession routes have now been lost. One day a white man or even Indian will become Chief in the Bembaland. The BRE needs the spirit of ba mwana ba Na Nkumbula, Lakement Mutale Chitapankwa and Victor Ngandu. The two brought “Ichikuku” mu Lubemba
