So what if President Lungu drinks?

Editor,

If M’membe and his paper can write that Lungu drinks then it shows how dull and irresponsible his thinking is. If he drinks, so what? Leave Lungu alone to work if you are not happy with him go and hang yourself.

Illegal ‘Shishita’ in Chazanga starts at 18.00hours

Editor,

Please help us here in Chazanga from policemen who arrest people as early as 18:00 hours for idle standing. We are even scared to walk as a couple because of the same arrangement.

Kambwili right on GBM

Editor,

It was interesting to hear issue based politics during Saturday’s rally addressed among others by Chishimba Kambwili and was very right on the mealie meal. Is GBM not the owner of GBM Milling? If he has a formula for making affordable mealie meal, why can’t he do it now?

 What a shame!

Editor,

The restoration of the immunity of Rupiah Banda speaks volumes about the integrity of our parliament! It allowed itself to be used to harass and humiliate an innocent man just because some despot somewhere wanted to make a name. What a shame! The Speaker and all those who voted in favour must resign. Bravo the UPND for voting against!

Mwaliteta got it all wrong

Editor,

I have been living in Kafue for the past 42 years and I have seen ministers come and go. But of all the Ministers Mr. Mwaliteta did nothing compared to late Shabusale.

Those resignations at Football House

Editor,

The resignation of some individuals at Football House when Andrew Kamanga beat great Kalu is shocking. Were these people expecting Kalu to be wamuyaya? Or is it a case of rats running away when a cat walks into the house? I smell a rat.

War against violence should involve communities

Editor,

The notion that only President Edgar Lungu can end violence because he is the commander in chief is not only wrong but cheap politicking at its best. These youths used in violence are coming from our families. So to me it is the responsibility of each family and community to be on the lookout and report everyone involved. Then for you rich fools with money to sponsor violence seek the hand of God over those night meetings in our communities.

The lies of the cartel

Editor,

The cartel through its newspaper is working so hard to turn darkness look equal to light. They are turning our truth into lies and the lies into truth. It is the devil at work in our country. Let us be prayerful every day.

The issue of load shedding

Editor,

We want the ZESCO to start using the same timetable they had been using because here in Maplot Kabanana it’s too much. Just imagine electricity goes off at 06:00 hours and comes back around 22:00 hours Is this fair sure? Please something must be done.
