‘Kalusha sent me to collect his personal effects’

Under-20 national team coach Chris Kaunda has denied owning an office at the Football House.

Kaunda said he was at Football House on Monday merely to collect personal effects belonging to the former FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya.

He was reacting to the Daily Nation’s story on the back page of tuesday which said he was found packing his belongings out of the secretariat including those of Kalusha in the presence of police officers.

“It is not true that I have an office at Football House. I was merely asked by Kalusha to go and collected his items which were already packed

“I am a police officer and I was at Central police station when Kalusha asked me to help him collect his property at Football House and that is how I found myself there,” said Kaunda.

Kaunda said it was not true that he asked for the keys from the receptionist because he had no office at Football House.

He said he had nothing against the newspaper but the reporter who already conveyed inaccuracies whom he said should personally be disciplined for fabricating the story about him.
