Bravo Andrew Kamanga!

Editor,

I wish to congratulate new FAZ President Andrew Kamanga (AK) for his spirited campaign for the presidency. As soccer fans we want change in the way the Zambian league and the ticketing is done. With the new technology at our disposal, I feel online ticketing will help reduce congestion we always face when buying tickets. Make use of Airtel or MTN money transfer. I also hope that FAZ will be free of corruption allegations.

Used computer buying ban a joke

Editor,

Banning of buying second hand computers in schools by the Ministry of Education is a joke. Can they tell the nation how ICT will be implemented if they have banned the buying of such computers? Rural schools will not manage to implement this policy. This decision by Government through the Ministry of Education is very big joke and it has to be reversed.

Zambia has enough stocks of maize

Editor,

Zambia still has enough maize stocks. I urge those who are bitter with President Edgar Lungu to go to Food Reserve Agency and see for themselves that maize is still in abundance and see how many trucks are waiting to be offloaded and I am also challenging them to visit Mungwi FRA and ask the drivers how many days they have stayed without being offloaded.

What changes do you want to see in the running of Zambian football?

Patrique Paulus:We need to decentralise the running of football affairs, allow players display their talents and skills without any interference from those in leadership! Players to be part of the national team should be chosen on merit not corruption! Transparent transfers of our players! Congrats Mr Kamanga. Patrick Paul,SMN.

Mordecai Palangwa: Transparency in the running of football. Should Kamanga also treat FAZ like his household he will equally be fired

Mwiya Liywalii: Pension Fund for players, Super league secretariat separate from FAZ which will only oversee lower leagues and national teams, provincial leagues where the 10 provincial champs meet in the National Championship (like Campionato Brazilero in Brazil), to mention but a few.

Phiri Sakasa John: I want the midweek games be played around 18 hrs and be televised live, clubs should have academies, more league tournament not only Barclays. Airtel should have a cup tournament in the super league like it used to be with Mosi or BP top 8. In fact each company should have a team well registerd with FAZ . This will help by providing employment to the youths who will be playing football.

Everisto EK Terrence Chanda: we want sanity in running of football affairs and help the players to go to Europe not what Kalu was doing

Adrian Kalumbi: The answer is in his inaugural speech he released early this morning…check out on FAZ page.

David Chimbi: National team selection should be left to the coach not FAZ executive.

Heath Syambayi: new coach must be recruited and selection of national players must be left to the coach

Sylvester Besto Mangani: At the moment not much needs changing. We just need the league to grow to greater heights in terms of marketing and filling up stadiums…..which will in turn allow players to get paid more money.

Kalinda Chiba Howard: I would have contributed but this comes at a time when the Minister announced withdrawal of funding to sports.  This may be tough for the new team I guess.

Isaiah Meleki :Kalu has done his part now it’s time for AK47 aka Andrew Kamanga to do his part as well. Please AK47 we need Charly Musonda Jnr now.

Gerald Mngawa :Personally I want to know how much money FAZ gets from Supersport and part of that money should be paid straight to all the players

Yobe Nyirenda: we want transparency in the selection of players, in financial management, in player transfer deals, in coach selection ,all in all we need this new admin to put the interest of players first as this is the only way you can motivate them to take us to the World Cup.

Nchimunya Muchindu: Sort out the corruption that’s at Football House. Whether we lose or win it does not matter as long as we are corruption free.
