NATIONAL soccer team coach George ‘‘Chicken’’ Lwandamina yesterday released a 23-man final squad for the two-legged 2017 Gabon Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo Brazzaville next week.
The first leg will be played under floodlights on March 23 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, followed by the return leg three days later in Brazzaville.
The squad has 10-foreign based players which includes the TP Mazembe trio of skipper Rainford Kalaba, Nathan Sinkala and Kabaso Chongo.
Others are Mpumalanga Black Aces captain Collins Mbesuma and inform Winston Kalengo of AC Leopards in Congo.
Lwandamina has also called Davies Nkausu who returns to the squad since June 2015.
And Christopher Katongo and Isaac Chansa are among the local players that have clinched slots in the final team.
Meanwhile, Lwandamina has axed Power Dynamos striker Patson Daka despite scoring in the MTN/FAZ opening match on Saturday.

Goalkeepers: Kennedy Mweene (Mamelodi Sundowns/RSA), Jacob Banda (Zesco United) and Racha Kola (Zanaco).
Defenders: Buchizya Mfune, Stephen Kabamba, Adrian Chama (Green Buffaloes), Davies Nkausu (Free States Stars/RSA), Stoppila Sunzu (Lille/France) and Chongo Kabaso (TP Mazembe/DRC).
Midfielders: Jackson Chirwa (Green Buffaloes), Benson Sakala (Power Dynamos), Spencer Sautu (Green Eagles), Salulani Phiri (Zanaco), Nathan Sinkala (TP Mazambe), Lubambo Musonda (Gandazasar Kapan/Armenia), Isaac Chansa (Zanaco), Christopher Katongo (Green Buffaloes), Rainford Kalaba (TP Mazembe) and Clatous Chama (Zesco United).
Strikers: Collins Mbesuma (Mpumalanga Black aces), Evans Kangwa (Hapoel Ra’anana/ Israel), Conlyde Luchanga (Lusaka Dynamos) and Winston Kalengo (AC Leopards/Congo).
