Only the rich get bursaries

Editor,

On the issue of universities and colleges, honestly why do we have to pay just to be educated?  There are some of us who can’t afford to pay all the money but have good Grade 12 results.  Only rich children get bursaries. Am appealing to the Ministry of Education to look into this and  help educate us your future leaders.

HH tame your cadres or else…

Editor,

HH will not win 2016 elections because of his violent cadres who are beating up innocent people and destroying cars. Please HH tame your cadres for the betterment of our mother Zambia.

Is mushroom poison hunger?

Editor,

Can the PF government promptly investigate the story on Muvi TV main news at 18:30 hrs on 14th February 2016, that six people died of hunger in Chipangali constituency. If one goes to the bush and gets poisonous mushrooms and after eating he dies, does that constitute dying of hunger? Is this not a malicious story because we have not forgotten the fake presidential opinion polls which this television station was showing?

 When will load shedding end?

Editor,

I would like to find out from Zesco if we still don’t have enough water in our country to justify the continuous load shedding we are experiencing.

People of no conscience

Editor,

Zambia is slowly becoming a nation of rumour-mongering and slander. Innocent people’s  reputations are being destroyed daily through slander and back-biting. Surely something must have gone wrong in our nation because we have embraced inappropriate and  shameful behaviour of character assassination as a normal thing. It’s sad when people lose their  conscience and embrace  maliciousness. We need to re-evaluate our morals as a people.

A disconnected city within a city

Editor,

Allow me to thank the PF government for road and bridge construction in Lusaka and other  towns. Here in Zanimuwone West, Kabangwe and other areas we feel very much disconnected to the city because of the Chunga stream (a boundary between Lusaka and Chibombo districts). Please we need a bridge which will connect us to Chunga (1 km away).

 UPND must heed Lungu advice

Editor,

Please kindly allow me space to urge UPND cadres to  heed President Edgar Lungu’s advice of  peace and unity following the  recent attack on innocent media workers, policemen and ordinary citizens after a rally in Monze. Such behaviour betrays HH’s integrity when comparison is made to the nerve-raising lead story of the Sunday Post Newspaper of January 26, 2014.
