Violence begets violence

Editor,

Some politicians think that by sponsoring violence they can manage to have more votes. But what they forget is that the same way they want to use violence to get votes for themselves is the same way they will also be removed from office.

Govt should stop sponsoring students at CBU and UNZA

Editor,

Government should stop sponsorship students at  higher learning institutions like CBU and UNZA, more to those who come from rich families because they don’t’ know why they go to school. Government should only consider those who come from poor families because they are the ones who know the  importance of school and go there with good intentions.

Elias Chipimo lost in political  desert

Editor,

Among the  opposition leaders Elias Chipimo appears exceedingly level-headed. He shows mature political talent and for him to allow the likes of Sampa and  Chanda to influence his way of doing politics is demeaning, to say the least. The best he can do is to join PF where he may have an opportunity to speak the same language we know him for. In case he doesn’t know , he came out  number one in last year’s presidential  debate.

Be careful Zambians

Editor,

With all these projects and development we  have witnessed under the PF government can we say PF and its  leadership have failed? What else do we expect or are we fair to ourselves as Zambians? Michael Sata (MSRIP) struggled for many years and made it to State House because he proved by showing us what he did when he served in previous governments and no one does not know this. Those fighting his Excellency Edgar C. Lungu are doing so for personal gain. Zambians, our vote is for our own benefits and not selfish individuals.

Allow self-sponsored students to continue at UNZA, CBU

Editor,

I write to express concern over the closure of the  UNZA. I am one of the students at the school and a self-sponsored. I am asking the Minister of Higher education  to consider self-sponsored students because we are paying a lot of money and we cannot suffer on account of  government sponsored ones.

UPND now a den of political rejects

Editor,

I wish to thank Robert Sichinga for leaving PF and going where he belongs. UPND is now a den of rejects who cannot find space in the PF, the people’s party. Good riddance Edgar Lungu.

Mwembeshi still charging high school fees

Editor,

In your paper dated 4th  February, 2016, I read the article where ministry of education public relations officer said all schools should adhere to the new official school fees. However the above mentioned has not reduced. Instead it has increased from  K1,170 to K1,800 making it difficult for many parents  who are now trying to move their children to other schools.
