Say no to tribalism, it stinks

Editor,

My dad is Bemba from Chinsali and mum is a Tonga from Choma. They have been together for 33 years. I also know of a Lozi man who is married to an Easterner, there are many intermarriages in Zambia. All this points to One Zambia, One Nation. It doesn’t matter if you are tall, short, black, white, we are all Zambians. It makes sad reading of new political alliances being formed with leaders from one tribe. The next thing youths will be asked to marry from their own tribe, if they go the other way, they will be cursed for generations. Let us embrace the One Zambia, One Nation motto. I am impressed with what my dad did to go for a woman from another tribe and mum for accepting. Say no tribalism.

New Constitution knocks out fake politicians

Editor,

New Zambian Constitution has made fake politicians to realise that they have no support on the ground. Wynter Kabimba is now dining with VJ and HH and Elias Chipimo has now  been swallowed by Miles Sampa and ‘vuvuzela’ Eric Chanda who is  just good at insults. No wonder some of these politicians were fired by Michael Sata (MHSRP)from government and PF. They are just cantankerous politicians with no direction.

Mines should do more for Zambians

Editor,

I wish to agree with one article written by Philimon Nyirenda about lack of support mining companies are giving to the Zambians.  One thing we should bear in mind is that these mines belong to us and so every Zambian ought to benefit from the proceeds of mining activities.  There is need for these companies to also invest in social sectors. Development is measured by the improved life expectancy, good health and education. These are sectors where we want to see corporate social responsibility increased.

Mumbwa Magistrates Court disappoints man

Editor,

I would like to request the Judiciary to do something about what is happening at Mumbwa Magistrates Court. Someone paid me money in full through the said court but to get it was a big problem. It took two years. They paid half and then started giving me several fake appointments over the other half. During the time I was going to the court I met at least three people claiming their  money  with no hope of ever receiving it.

That MMD/PF alliance

Editor,

If it is true that MMD and PF have made an alliance, then I don’t see the reason why MMD was removed from power. What was happening in MMD in those years 2010/2011 are also happening today. It is like we had MMD one and now we have PF  as MMD two. Secondly, let not the love of money divide the nation.

Politicians should embrace God

Editor,

I would like to appeal to every politician that they should seek the presence of God. I wish also to advise the UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and other politicians like Wynter Kabimba, Edith Nawakwi, Nevers Mumba, Chishimba Kambwili, Elias Chipimo that you cannot lead people without their will. Kindly show us love and you will surely get votes
