Singuluma shines in Mazembe win


Given Singuluma scored a goal and provided two assists to help TP Mazembe to a resounding 4 0 victory away against Tshinkuku.

Singuluma started the match alongside Kabaso Chongo and Nathan Sinkala.

Mazembe went ahead in the 13th minute when Luyindama controlled a cross from Kabaso to blast home from the penalty spot.

Singuluma added another in the 41st minute benefiting from an Asante cross before he turned provider for Awako and Ulimwengu in the 73rd for and 79th minutes.

Meanwhile Mpumalanga Black Aces of South Africa are on the verge of signing Mukuka Mulenga from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Zambian midfielder has been kicking his heels on the sidelines since the start of the season, with the Brazilians failing to register him after exhausting their foreign quota.

AmaZayoni coach Muhsin Etrugral confirmed the interest saying, “There are talks between the two teams. There is interest from our side and there is interest from the player. He is a young and very good player who I believe will suit our style of play.”

Ertugral also ruled out the chances of signing Congolese striker Lelo Mbele during the current transfer window, but says something could still happen.

“It is always difficult to sign foreign players during this time with the issues of a work-permit. We are going to look at him again at the start of next season.”

Meanwhile, Santos have signed Aces striker Kpah Sherman for the remainder of the season on a loan deal.
