Orange alliance nothing but a tribal grouping

Editor,

The alliance called orange by jokers Miles Sampa, Eric Chanda and Elias Chipimo is nothing by a tribal grouping which well meaningful youth organisations, high learning institutions and the youths in  Zambia should condemn as it is nothing but a promotion of tribalism. In fact it shocks me to see Chipimo associating himself with Eric and Sampa in such  a venture. One Zambia One Nation.

HH apology to Post ha ha ha haha

Editor,

HH’s apology to the Post is nothing other than desperation and deception. All he wants is coverage from the Post. He is imitating what Mr. Sata (MHSRIP) did to the Post and received massive coverage. When Mr. Sata  differed with Fred M’membe it took only few days for Mr. Sata to realize that he was wrong and apologised to Fred M’membe. Now look at this pompous man how  many years has passed for him to apologise now? Let him also apologise to the people of Zambia  for the role he played in privatization of mines. Desperate people do desperate things and please stop imitating what Mr. Sata was doing. We are anxiously waiting to see if the Post will sink so low to accept this deceitful and empty so called apology.

GBM is not telling the truth

Editor,

GBM is wrong in suggesting that  Northern Province has endorsed HH for president. Which part of Northern province was he referring to? Bembas, Mbuya ni Mbuya. Go for Chagwa.

HH apology to Post false

Editor,

I doubt the apology which HH is reportedly to have made to the Post Newspaper for the insults and demeaning language is true. Why has it come now at a critical campaign period? Is it that he is desperate for front page coverage? HH is selfish and would love to ride on others to get to State House. If the apology is genuine, let him also apologise to President Lungu.

PF should leave violence

to losers

Editor,

PF and President Lungu are with no doubt winning this year’s election. This issue is not debatable. Even UPND cadres in the South know that. But if it is true that PF is also actively involved in political violence then the senior PF leadership must step in very quickly. Violence is a sign of defeat and a serious sign of  lack of qualitative additions to a  national cause. Winners don’t fight, neither do they curse, swear and insult. PF should leave violence to losers.

The hustles of opening a new bank account

Editor,

I went to open an account with one of the banks in my small town and one of the requirements was a reference letter from someone with an account in the same bank . Is that really significant considering the fact that I am the  one who is taking my money to them for safe keeping. Should not an NRC be enough identification? Bank of Zambia must make simple this system because such requirements are waste of time.

ZIKA warning?

Editor,

The ZIKA outbreak in Brazil should send a shock wave of fear.  If not, alarm, to Zambia. As concerned citizen and a victim of malaria, I advise whoever visited Brazil in the immediate past to be screened of the virus as soon as possible, whether government official or private citizen. Let Ministry of Health issue a warning in this regard.

Govt should take Gunvor to task

Editor,

Gunvor’s handling of crude oil supply makes a sad reading. A simple contract should always address the issue of breach of contract and the affected party should never suffer loss because of failure by the other party’s to deliver the contract. If it’s proved that Gunvor has again supplied contaminated crude oil, the  government should not  just cancel the  contract but seek compensation and penalties for the breach.
