SOUTHERN Province must come on board to put Edgar Changwa Lungu back into the Presidential office when we go to the polls on August 11 this year because the man has ingrained humility, says Minister of Finance Alexander Chikwanda.
He said he was recommending to the entire country that Mr Lungu should continue being Zambia’s Head of State.
“The President is invariably a very powerful figure. In the PF with deep reflection and due circumspection we will recommend to the entire country that Edgar C. Lungu be Zambia’s President.
“PF is convinced and persuaded beyond all shade of reproach. Please come on board to place in that sensitive office a man with ingrained humility who will reach out and always available for all of us,” he said.
Mr Chikwanda said Southern Province must vote for the PF to continue with Zambia’s robust development agenda and developmental programmes.
He said the global economy continued to exhibit reverses and frayed stock markets.
“To continue the country’s robust development agenda it is PF’s expectations that even here in this important food granary of our country, you will endorse our development programmes by voting for PF in impressive numbers. When we go to the polls on 11th August this year to elect members of Parliament and the President that is a prelude to formation of Government,” Mr Chikwanda said.
