STANDARD Chartered Bank has won the ‘Best Foreign Bank in Zambia’ award by the prestigious Finance African banking awards 2015, says chief executive officer Andrew Okai .

Mr Okai said the new award demonstrated the bank’s commitment to offer world-class banking products and services.

“We are delighted to be named ‘Best Foreign Bank in Zambia.’ This recognition from EMEA Finance is a source of great motivation for us, and since we opened our first branch in Kalomo 110 years ago, Standard Chartered has remained steadfast in offering world-class products and services to our valued clients,” he said.

Mr Okai said the commitment to innovation had seen Standard Chartered pioneer several banking solutions, including digital platforms, electronic banking centres, cash deposit machines, extended and weekend banking hours.
