-ChandaTHE Patriotic Front Government is here to stay and will not accept any terror of hate propagated by the infamous cartel, party media and publicity vice chairperson Sunday Chanda has said.
He said the PF would not be intimidated by the terror of hate being promoted by the cartel and bought into by a desperate opposition.
Mr. Chanda said the cartel’s idea was to cause panic in an economy under pressure leading to panic buying by consumers causing artificial shortages of some commodities.
“Patriotic Front is not intimidated by the terror of hate propagated by the infamous Cartel and bought into by a desperate opposition in the Country. The Cartel’s idea is to cause panic in an economy under pressure, leading to panic buying by consumers thus causing “artificial shortages” of fuel,” he said.
Mr. Chanda said no amount of blackmail would sabotage the agenda of the PF to better the lives of many poor Zambians, adding that the main agenda of the infamous cartel was to vilify President Edgar Lungu.
“We urge Zambians to be alert and watch out for these “deliberate” rumours and speculations as economic sabotage and blackmail by the cartel. We commend Energy Regulation Board (ERB) for responding efficiently to rumours of fuel pump price increments! This is the specialization of the Cartel. They have no better message for Zambians except to vilify His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu. It is no wonder their mouthpieces are ending up with ridiculous press conferences because they have no better alternative expect messages of hate,” he said.
Mr. Chanda said it was time the UPND president Hakainde Hichilema stopped viewing Zambians as docile people on issues of governance and what was obtaining on the market.
He said it was difficult to understand Mr. Hichilema’s hate for Zambia, adding that the PF would continue to be in power because Zambians cannot trust the opposition leader.
“He thinks Zambians are so docile as to believe his empty promises about a marshal plan for Zambia’s economy but ended up with a hollow press conference. We fail to understand how it could be that with all his education, Mr. Hichilema believes the load-shedding and weakening currency are a doing of President Lungu, a leader working hard to resolve the challenges. To prove that he is so detached from the challenges of the masses, he did not even know the price of bread and yet he claims to represent the common man,” Mr Chanda said.
He said the PF would never be defeated by another political party currently existing in Zambia because they were not playing the role expected of them.
“It is not possible that PF can be shaken by political parties that have gone to bed with the cartel. PF will never betray Zambians, no matter the storm, the more reason we affirm that PF is here to stay. For the first time in the history of Zambia, we have opposition parties in dire need of anger management instigated by their realisation that PF is indestructible and the person who is going to defeat the PF is not yet born,” said Mr. Chanda.
