Is musician Saboi eyeing Kafue seat?

MUSICIAN and child rights activist Saboi Imboela could be the latest addition to a number of musicians that wish to contest the 2016 general elections.
The musician has not really made an official statement yet she has been linked to the United Party for National Development, UPND.
Saboi, famous from the once-popular duo, Shatel, has been an ardent critic of the ruling PF especially on social media. She has also offered counsel on various political issues to the youth.
Apart from being a passionate defender of human rights especially those bordering on children, Saboi has shown particular interest of aligning herself to the opposition UPND.
This week, there has been a campaign on social media, seemingly from her followers on Facebook suggesting that she could be the UPND candidate for the Kafue seat in 2016 elections.
Should this come to pass, Saboi would have joined fellow musicians Chris Aka and Maiko Zulu who are eyeing parliamentary seats in Katuba and Kabwata respectively.
