Strange that contaminated feedstock found its way into our refinery. For many years I spent at Indeni, I can only remember the refinery receiving bad crude once. This led to a lot of changes in the procurement of the commodity by establishing many points of testing up to the refinery to avoid any recurrence. The big question is what happened to these points of testing before accepting the feed from the ship up to Indeni? Someone must explain this anomaly. The whole thing stinks of a big rotten rat. Indeni management and its workers are very hard working team and to subject them to this senseless act is unforgivable. President Lungu must take keen interest in this matter.
