Mwense priest fined K5,500 for flirting with businessman’s wife

A 40–year old Mwense Parish priest district has been ordered to pay K5,500 as compensation for flirting with a local businessman wife

Mwense Boma Presiding local court magistrate, Charles Kasenge, ordered Kennedy Kachinga to pay K5, 500 to the husband  of the woman he has been flirting with.

Particulars of the matter are that that Fr Kachinga used to take a local businessman’s wife to Mansa on different occasions.

The court further heard that the businessman found two  half-naked photographs of his wife taken in the priest’s bathroom.

In submission, the local businessman requested the priest to compensate him for interfering into his marriage.

However, Fr Kachinga refused to compensate the local businessman as he was not the causer of the marital problems in the fanmily.

But in passing judgment, the presiding local court magistrate found the priest guilty and ordered him to pay the money in 21 monthly installment. – ZANIS
