The President deserves respect

Many misguided Zambians have completely misunderstood what democracy and freedom of expression means. Freedom of expression does not mean to disrespect, insult and bring the name of those in leadership into disrepute. Freedom of expression means being free to speak out and offer constructive issue-based criticism to leaders in a respectful and dignified manner. The Almighty Jehovah demands that all people must have deep respect for the President and all those in leadership (Romans 13:1-7, 1 Timothy 5:1).Therefore anyone who disrespects or insults the President has no right to call themselves Christians. Yet many Zambians are so euphoric about the country being Christian. What hypocrisy!
