GBV claimed more male victims in 2014 –VSU

There has been an increase in the number of men reporting Gender Based Violence cases in 2014, says Zambia Police Service Victim Support Unit (VSU) national Cordinator Tresford Kasale.

Mr Kasale said the number of men that reported gender  based violence was higher in 2014 compared to 2013.

Mr Kasale has however said that Zambia has seen a reduction in GBV cases due efforts by stakeholders.

He has since encouraged members of the public to report such cases to the relevant authorities in order to reduce them further.
