ZAF officers urged to remain loyal

Zambia Air force (ZAF) officer commanding-training Command, Brigadier General John Sinyangwe has urged officers to remain loyal, disciplined and professional in the manner they carry out their operations.

Brig.Gen. Sinyangwe said this demands that the officers should be non-partisan at all times and carry out their duties diligently as they endeavour to serve the nation.

He urged the officers to continue carrying out their role of defending the country’s air space from hostile air threats and also provision of support to the ground forces.

Brig.Gen. Sinyangwe said this when he officiated at the ZAF Lusaka officer’s annual ball on Wednesday night.

He commended government for the continued support rendered to ZAF over the past 50 years of its existence. And ZAF Lusaka Station Commander Colonel Henry Chiwaya said the officers  remained committed to the provision of other military operations such as fire fighting  and other services.

Col Chiwaya said as a station they pledged to work closely with both Government, other security wings and cooperating partners in the provision of services to the country.
