Govt launches road carnage survey

Government says it will embark on an analysis project to assess the reason why the number of road accidents in Zambia has increased in the last five years.

Transport Minister Yamfwa Mukanga said the  project was being conducted to enable government find solutions to the escalating number of road traffic accidents.

Mr Mukanga said government was concerned about the rise in  number of road accidents in Zambia.

He said the project woulde be conducted by the Road Transport and Safety Agency RTSA.
