I regret ushering PF into power – Fr Bwalya

Alliance for Better Zambia leader Father Frank Bwalya says he regrets contributing to ushering the PF into leadership of liars into government.

And Fr Bwalya says he will only consider the issue of his priesthood after 2016.

He said the current leadership in government had betrayed Zambians.

“I contributed to putting into office liars who have betrayed the trust of the people and I should do even more to remove them. I pledge to do everything to ensure that Zambians have servant leadership after 2016,” Fr Bwalya stated.

He said God would continue to guide him to realize his vision for Zambia.

“A Zambia of God fearing citizens who equitably share the fruits of economic progress,” Fr Bwalya stated.

He said it was now five years since he took leave of absence and later indefinite leave of absence from priestly ministry.

“After prayer, discernment and consultation I have decided the following, my indefinite leave of absence from priestly ministry continues, my involvement in partisan politics including seeking public office continues, people should be free to address me as they wish including the following Frank Bwalya, Mr Frank Bwalya and Fr Frank Bwalya. I prefer to be called simply Frank Bwalya or FB,” stated Bwalya. “I will only consider the issue of my priesthood after 2016.”
