Church attack barbaric – Fr Bwalya

THE Patriotic Front (PF) government has invited a curse on itself and its end will be very bad because its sponsored thugs invaded BIGOGA, the house of God and committed sacrilege which has never seen before in this country, Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) President Father Frank Bwalya has said.
Fr Bwalya said the invasion of the house of God by the PF thugs was an abomination that had invited a curse on the ruling party and that its end would be very bad.The ABZ president, who was reacting to the attack on innocent campaigners of “Black Friday” by PF thugs at BIGOGA church in Lusaka, condemned the barbaric behaviour of the PF thugs.
He said the abomination spoke volumes about the desperation of the PF and came as a warning that this criminal party was prepared to do anything to suppress dissenting views on issues of public interest.
“As Alliance for Better Zambia we condemn the barbaric action of PF thugs and challenge the Zambia Police to arrest them.
“We want to state that the PF government has no respect for God’s house such as the BIGOCA church which their thugs invaded and committed sacrilege never seen before in this country. This abomination has invited a curse on PF. As such, we declare that the end of PF will be very bad,” Fr Bwalya said.
Fr Bwalya said his party had strongly condemned the barbaric behaviour of the PF cadres and challenged the police to arrest the culprit, saying failure by the police to arrest those criminals would lead to loss of the little confidence the public has in the police to deal with political violence.
He said if the violence continued, Zambians would be justified to form militias to defend themselves against State sponsored criminals.
“As Alliance for Better Zambia we condemn the barbaric action of PF cadres and challenge the Zambia Police to arrest them. Failure by the Police to arrest those criminals will lead to lose of the little confidence the public has in the Police to deal with political violence.
“This will be a recipe for anarchy in our country. If this violence continues, Zambians will be justified to form militias to defend themselves against state sponsored criminals.
“We want to state categorically that the reason why those PF criminals acted with impunity is because they have the backing of the top leadership in the PF-led government,”
Fr Bwalya urged Zambians to hold the PF top leadership accountable for the violence that the Zambians have been witnessing since PF came to power.
“For this reason Zambians should not expect any condemnation from top PF leadership let alone President Michael C Sata,” He said.
