Rajan Mathani in Swiss Court

Finance Bank Chairman Rajan Mathani has been summoned to an arbitration Tribunal court in Switzerland over a commission dispute with the Zambezi Portland Cement owner Antonio Ventriglia.
According to a report in the NZZ am Sonntag newspaper, Credit Suisse Bank which was supposed to  own 40 percent of the Finance Bank, has been drawn into the suit as the Banks  Chairman Rajan Mahtani has been accused of active involvement  in  a scheme to expropriate the cement company from the Ventriligios.
The ventriglios complained that as at  December 2012, Dr.  Mahtani had taken over the cement factory using un-orthodox means which were supported by the deportation of two Directors.
The matter is now before Swiss arbitration.
According to the Sonntag newspaper report, ZPC was founded and built  by the Italian Antonio Ventriglia  who now felt unlawfully expropriated more so that  two of his sons who were born in Zambia  were also deported in an effort orchestrated by Dr Mathani to take over the company illegally.
The dispute has apparently drawn in Credit Suisse Bank which in 2008 took an interest in  Finance Bank
Meanwhile,  Credit Suisse is reported to have  written off the investment, following reports that  in 2010,  the Finance Bank banking license was revoked, on accoiunt of Banking irregularities including charges of  money laundering allegations.
The report noted that Dr. Mathani was held in custody for a while but had not been not convicted.
